Community Involvement — "The 1% Fund"
As part of our overall philanthropic culture, Rally has committed 1% of the company's future profits to support local philanthropy through the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado. The '1% Fund' also encourages our executives and employees to pledge 1% of their personal equity in Rally to philanthropy, and helps the Rally team donate 1% of our working hours to local charities and non-profits.
Here are just a few of our community-minded employees and the causes they support:
- Cindy volunteers her time at the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, Humane Society of Boulder Valley, American Red Cross, Hospice and Operation Respect.
- Greg volunteers with Shelter Network in San Mateo, CA in association with Salesforce.com’s efforts to provide housing for the homeless and is a board member of Aptos Little League to promote self confidence, sportsmanship, skill development and teamwork to young baseball players ages 6-12 years.
- Jackie is a member of the Adoption Exchange Guild and a key volunteer for CSIA.
- Chad volunteers at the Tiny Tim Center, a preschool to provide early childhood education and therapeutic services to children with disabilities and without disabilities.
- Jennifer is the class parent coordinator and member of the board of Boulder Montessori School.
- Ryan is a board of Trustee Member and co-Founder of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado, a board member for the Agile Alliance, a Rally team member at Community Food Share and a parent volunteer for Friends' School in Boulder.
- Anne hosts the Colorado networking group for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.
- Bryan serves on the board of directors for the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless and has been a shift volunteer for 8 years.
- Tim has volunteered with Social Venture Partners, Colorado Youth Program, Emergency Family Assistance Association, Boulder High School FIRST Robotics team, Dawson Academy, and Project YES.
- Lauren is on the advisory committee for both Boulder YoungLife as well as The Buckaroo Ball.
- Rachel is a delivery driver for Project Angel Heart, an organization that provides meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

The Rally team rides the Buffalo Bicycle Classic to support scholarships in CU's College of Arts and Sciences. Rally's director of business development Dan Forman wins! (Or maybe that was just in his head.)
